> Mutoko is situated 143 km East of Harare along Nyamapanda Highway.
> The population of Mutoko according to the statistical office in Mutoko Centre is approximately 132 268
> There are four (4) chiefs namely: Chief Chimoyo, Chief Mutoko, Chief Charehwa and Chief Nechombo in the Mutoko district.
> The main types of crops grown in the district are Maize and Groundnuts. The district is also known for growing tomatoes commonly known as Mapuno, vegetables, onions, and carrots and does market gardening for their survival.
> EKOWISA community ICT Project members are continually increasing and currently there are 35.

The EKOWISA Community ICT Project management committee is comprised of 11 people as outlined below:

The Mutoko EKOWISA Community ICT Project members have embarked on a number of activities namely:

* Secondary School Computer Clubs focusing on designing and printing of business cards, brochures, calendars among other materials.
* Computer appreciation training of community members.
* Digital Story Telling .
* Photographing ,Video shooting and Editing .

They intend to embark on website design and development in future.
